  1. Setup
$ git init
$ git remote add origin git@github.com:dmuth/git-101.git
$ git remote -v
origin  git@github.com:dmuth/git-101.git (fetch)
origin  git@github.com:dmuth/git-101.git (push)
$ git push -u origin master
Counting objects: 3, done.
Writing objects: 100% (3/3), 225 bytes, done.
Total 3 (delta 0), reused 0 (delta 0)
To git@github.com:dmuth/git-101.git
 * [new branch]      master -> master
Branch master set up to track remote branch master from origin.

 

2. Update email and name

git config user.email "your_email@example.com"

git config user.email
your_email@example.com
