Develop a website with Keystone Framework in One Month

In last one month, I developed a website with Keystone JS Framework which is a great Node JS CRM framework. Compared with WordPress, it’s better for scaling and has more programmer friendly data model with MongoDB, a light admin panel and client user interface. Furthermore, NodeJS is already very popular in recent years, I chose to use Keystone JS even though I have limited experience in Node JS field.By the way, Keystone JS Framework uses Jade (which is an HTML alternative and has succinct syntax, beside Jade there’re other options) and LESS (and other options) for CSS to decorate web page.

There are some tips and links for development with Keystone JS Framework, there are still a lot more I can learn and improve even though I finished the website in one month.

  1. Add data in Types.Relationship within Keystone framework

2. Only can seldomly sign in admin panel (need set session store)

Set ‘session store’: ‘mongo’ in your keystone options to enable connect-mongo. (Don’t forget to add connect-mongo in dependencies
