Apple release speech recognition API in WWDC 2016 and developers can implement application with native API to recognize live or pre-recorded audio even though it costs power and data, speech search is a trend and more and more people use Siri or Google Now, why not try to integrate speech recognition into your app!
There are a lot of tutorials in Swift which is used more and more widely even in large project, but I believe more developers have to stay with Objective C for the stability and maturity. That’s reason I write this blog and code in Objective C for other developers’ reference. My code is tested in XCode 8.2.1 and iOS 10.2.1 (iPhone 6), the app works like charm and speech recognition accuracy is amazing!
BTW, Apple has limitation about the number for the speech recognition request, feel free to contact them if you have the issue.
